We present here the elements of the installation of these conveyors.<\/p><p>In this project, our client needed a turnkey solution to transport steel coils from the outside to the inside of the factory. These coils arrive by truck, but a solution was needed to route them and straighten them to direct them to the appropriate location.<\/p><p>A tailor-made <strong>heavy-duty conveyor<\/strong> solution was put in place.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-298a525 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"298a525\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Choice of Conveyors<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4464661 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4464661\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our client designs and manufactures metal components for the construction industry such as bridges and buildings. To achieve its production objectives, this company needs robust and quality equipment.<\/p><p>For this project, our client has to transport steel coils with a diameter varying between 50 to 70 inches and a weight ranging from 1000 to 30,000 pounds.<\/p><p>A custom-made long chain-driven roller conveyor was installed to accomplish the job, a 90-degree turntable, coil upender, control panel, and safety guards were installed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-593a65b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"593a65b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal\">Motorized Roller Conveyor<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f4ba1ae elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f4ba1ae\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/convoyeurslm.com\/en\/conveyors\/chain-driven-live-roller-conveyors-cdlr\/\">CDLR conveyor<\/a> is perfect for moving heavy loads. Thanks to its structural steel structure, it is strong enough for this heavy-duty industry.<\/p><p>To move such heavy steel coils, we installed rollers whose individual capacity reaches 5000lb of movement without impact.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b99f7a6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b99f7a6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal\">Turntable with a Conveyor<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-41a7eba elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"41a7eba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To respect the workspace and position the coil towards the coil reverser, a turntable with conveyor that turns 90 degrees was installed to move the coil sideways towards the reverser.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10f408f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"10f408f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal\">Coil Upender<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e33d9b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2e33d9b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The customer supplied coil turner allows the steel coil to position itself vertically so that the gripper can pick it up and move it to the next workstation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3b418ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3b418ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal\">Safety Devices<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-04d3268 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"04d3268\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>With moving such large pieces of steel on the CDLR conveyor, it was essential to add <a href=\"https:\/\/convoyeurslm.com\/en\/products\/conveyor-protection-devices\/\">protective guards<\/a> to prevent accidents and protect teams.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-434a851 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\"
